The AIR-LOK Series 12″ M-LOK handguard utilizes a compression lock mechanism to secure Monolithic Top Rail, ensuring a tight fit against the receiver. This design eliminates flex and provides a rigid mounting platform for optics. The body is CNC machined from T6 Aluminum, offering a durable yet lightweight solution for AR-15 builds. The total weight, including the proprietary barrel nut, is just 8.9 oz, a significant reduction achieved through extensive skeletonization. The handguard features triangle and diamond cuts throughout its structure to minimize mass without compromising structural integrity.

Mounting is handled via the AIR-LOK compression system, where Top Rail slides over the barrel nut and is compressed against the receiver with four screws. This method ensures a stable interface for the integrated Picatinny top rail. The handguard includes M-LOK slots on the bottom, left, and right sides, allowing for modular accessory attachment.
