Description

The 12″ AIR-LOK Series M-LOK Compression Free Floating Handguard is a US-made accessory engineered for experienced AR-15 builders who require precise component control. Constructed from T6 Aluminum, this handguard features a Anodized Bronze finish that provides durable surface protection while maintaining a professional aesthetic. The design incorporates a Monolithic Top Rail that slides directly over the barrel nut, ensuring a rigid, unified platform for optic mounting without flex or misalignment.

Attachment is secured via the proprietary AIR-LOK Compression Lock Down Design, which utilizes four screws to compress the handguard firmly against the receiver. This method eliminates the play often associated with traditional slip-on handguards, resulting in a tight fit that enhances structural integrity. The handguard includes a Proprietary Barrel Nut specifically matched to this compression system, ensuring correct torque and alignment during installation.

Weight reduction is achieved through Triangle / Diamond Skeletonized Cuts throughout the body, bringing the Total Weight Including Barrel Nut to just 8.5 oz. Despite being lightweight, the unit remains Heavy Duty with an Internal Diameter of 1.32″, providing ample clearance for various barrel profiles and gas systems. M-LOK Slots are distributed on all four sides—top, bottom, left, and right—allowing for flexible accessory placement without obstructing the barrel.

For sling attachment, the handguard includes Machined QD Swivel Socket mounts on both the left and right sides of the rear end.
