Description

The 16.5″ AIR-LOK Series handguard is a compression-lock free floating system designed for AR-15 platforms. It features a monolithic Picatinny top rail that slides over the barrel nut and compresses against the receiver using four screws. This design ensures a tight fit and structural rigidity for Top Rail system. The handguard body is machined from T6 aluminum and finished in Anodized Purple. It includes a proprietary barrel nut to facilitate the compression mounting method.

Attachment points are provided via M-LOK slots on the bottom, left, and right sides, allowing for modular accessory installation. The body incorporates triangle and diamond skeletonized cuts to reduce overall weight while maintaining structural integrity. A Machined QD swivel socket is located on the rear end of the handguard, available on both the right and left sides. The internal diameter measures 1.32″, accommodating standard barrel profiles. The total weight, including the barrel nut, is 13.7 oz.

Constructed from T6 aluminum, this component offers durability for experienced builders. The Anodized Purple finish provides corrosion resistance and a distinct visual profile. The AIR-LOK compression design eliminates the need for traditional set screws to secure the handguard to the upper receiver, relying instead on the pressure applied by the four mounting screws.
