Description

The 7″ AIR-LOK Series M-LOK Compression Free Floating Handguard is a US-made upper receiver accessory designed for .308 Cal platforms. It features a T6 Aluminum body with an Anodized Purple finish, providing a durable exterior surface that resists wear while offering a distinct visual profile. The handguard utilizes a proprietary compression lock-down design, where Top Rail slides over the barrel nut and is compressed against the receiver using four screws. This method ensures a tight fit-up against the receiver, creating a stable foundation for the integrated Monolithic Top Rail.

Weight is managed through Triangle / Diamond Skeletonized Cuts throughout the handguard body, reducing mass without compromising structural integrity. The total weight, including the proprietary barrel nut, is 8.8 oz. The internal diameter is specified at 1.47″, accommodating standard barrel profiles for this caliber. The handguard extends 7″ in length and follows the DPMS Low Profile Spec, ensuring compatibility with low-profile gas blocks and standard AR-308 gas tubes. It includes a Proprietary Barrel Nut to facilitate the compression mounting system.

Accessory mounting is handled via M-LOK Slots located on three sides: the bottom, left, and right flanks. This configuration allows for the attachment of vertical grips, lights, or lasers while maintaining a streamlined profile. The handstop area features Four Black Set Screws on the lower left flank, which are used to secure the compression mechanism. The Anodized finish is applied uniformly across the Aluminum construction, with the Purple coloration providing high visibility.
