This 9-inch Socom Series Build Kit provides a complete upper receiver assembly for 5.56 caliber platforms, featuring a coordinated Anodized Blue finish. The kit includes a 9-inch mid-length handguard constructed from 6061 T6 Aluminum with an M-LOK system for accessory mounting. The handguard utilizes a steel barrel nut with an aluminum clamp design, and the total weight including the barrel nut is 10.5 oz. The upper receiver is stripped and unassembled, allowing for custom configuration. It accepts most suppressors for 5.56 and .300 Blackout calibers and includes provisions for a QD swivel mount. The buffer system consists of a Mil Spec six-position buffer tube crafted from T6 Aluminum. This tube is compatible with SBA Tactical braces and features an end plate and castle nut. The total weight of the buffer tube kit is 9.6 oz. Included in the buffer system is a 3 oz stainless steel car buffer paired with a chrome silicon spring to manage recoil effectively in pistol-length gas systems. Completing the Build Kit a lightweight, skeletonized pistol grip made from T6 Aluminum with an Anodized Blue finish. The grip features ergonomic finger grooves and a skeletonized cutout design to reduce weight while maintaining durability.
