Bought a 5.56 AR-15 M-forgery from Palmetto State Armory with tower front sight and got tired of looking at that through my scope, wanted a free-floating barrel anyway, so I bought an M-LOK 9 inch Mid-Length Free Float Rail System from Veriforce Tactical. Fit was perfect. I use an NRA High Power shooting glove so the M-LOK handguard works find for me all year long. I sawed off the the tower front sight but kept the bayonet lug. I like my rifle a lot better now! Everybody knows – I hope – there are three basics to an accurate rifle: a good trigger, a free-floating barrel, and a polymer or laminated stock. I like ambidextrous controls too. Glad I found this replacement handguard – it’s ideal!
