This build set combines a stripped AR-15 upper receiver with a 12-inch “Socom Series” handguard, both finished in Anodized Green. Designed for builders requiring precise fitment and modular attachment options, the set utilizes US-made components to ensure durability in 5.56 caliber platforms.

The upper receiver is CNC machined from T6 6061 Billet aluminum, providing a lightweight yet robust foundation. It features a Slim Profile Brass Deflector and accepts dust covers. The flat top includes a 1913 Picatinny Rail for optic mounting, while M4 Feed Ramps ensure reliable cartridge feeding. Notably, this receiver omits the Forward Assist to reduce weight and simplify the profile. The unit weighs 7 oz, making it an efficient choice for weight-conscious builds.

The accompanying 12″ “Socom Series” handguard utilizes a skeletonized design to minimize mass without compromising structural integrity. Constructed from 6061 T6 Aluminum with an Internal Diameter of 1.74″, it attaches via a Steel Barrel Nut with an Aluminum Clamp Design. This configuration supports M-LOK accessories for rails, grips, or lights, and includes provisions for QD Swivel mounting. The handguard is explicitly Suppressor Compatible, accommodating most suppressors for 5.56 and .300 Blackout calibers. Both the upper and handguard are manufactured in the USA and feature an Anodized Green Finish for corrosion resistance.
