Description

This AR .308 Cal Complete Pistol Upper Kit (GEN 2) provides a comprehensive collection of US-made components for builders constructing a .308 caliber pistol upper. The kit is supplied unassembled, requiring the builder to assemble the parts into a functional upper receiver assembly. The core of the build is the 10.5″ .308 barrel, which features a 1:10 twist rate and is constructed from 4150 steel. This barrel length and twist rate are selected to stabilize a wide range of .308 caliber projectiles commonly used in pistol platforms. The barrel is threaded with a 5/8 x 24 pattern, allowing for the attachment of various muzzle devices, and includes a 5/8 x 24 crush washer for proper seating. The upper receiver is a GEN 2 design, engineered with specific tolerances and features to ensure reliable operation with the included .308 Complete BCG. The kit also includes a Forward Assist Assembly and a .308 Ejection Door Assembly to complete the upper’s operational mechanics. For accessory mounting, the build utilizes a US 10″ AIR-LOK Series Compression M-LOK Handguard. This handguard features a solid pattern with geometric cutouts and secures to the Upper Kit a Steel Low Pro .750 Gas Block.
