Description

The Socom Series 15″ Handguard is Suppressor Compatible free-float rail system constructed from 6061 T6 Aluminum. Designed for the AR-15 platform, it features a skeletonized profile to reduce mass while maintaining structural integrity. The internal diameter measures 1.74″, ensuring adequate clearance for various barrel profiles and suppressor mounting configurations. This handguard accepts most suppressors for 5.56 and 300 Blackout calibers, as well as 9mm Caliber conversions.

Mounting is secured via a Steel Barrel Nut with an aluminum clamp design, providing a rigid interface between the handguard and the upper receiver. The exterior utilizes the M-LOK attachment system, allowing for the direct installation of accessories. It also accepts QD Swivel sockets for sling attachment. The unit weighs 14.6 oz including the barrel nut, offering a balance of durability and weight savings.

The exterior is finished with a Cerakote coating in Flat Dark Earth, providing corrosion resistance and a durable surface for handling.
